This ACN Inc review is being written exactly for the reason the questions ask in the headline. Is ACN Inc A Scam? Is ACN Inc a pyramid scheme? I’ve researched and written lots of network marketing company reviews and have 
never seen the abundance of questions and accusations related to a company like I did with ACN Inc. So by the time you get finished with this review you’ll know the truth.
ACN Inc-History and Leadership
ACN Inc opened its doors in 1993 under the same name it uses today, ACN Inc, which stands for American Communications Network. Being the patriot that I am I was hoping for the best from this company because they have the word American in their name. (I know, I bleed red, white and blue, can’t help it:).
Network marketing companies have their growing pains as do most businesses and ACN Inc is no exception. They have been charged with being a pyramid scheme in court cases in no less than 3 countries. Those countries are The USA, Canada and Australia.
In all 3 cases the charges were found to be unsubstantiated. In Pennsylvania though, ACN Inc Energy settled in a case in which the court documents were sealed but was widely thought to be cases of “slamming”. Slamming is when a utility switches your service to theirs without your permission.
ACN Inc was founded by Robert Stevanovski, Greg Provenzano, and twin brothers Tony and Mike Cupisz. They started with about 20 distributors and by 1998 were listed at number 22 in Inc Magazine’s list of the 500 fastest growing companies. Their annual revenues at that point amounted to over 98 million dollars.
In my opinion the answer to both questions of “Is ACN Inc a scam?” and “Is ACN Inc a pyramid scheme?” is: There have been the usual bumps in the road and mistakes made. People who had their own agendas making accusations. A lot of those people probably didn’t get out of the company what they expected to get. But ACN Inc is not a scam or a pyramid scheme. Donald Trump has endorsed ACN Inc multiple times. Whether you like “The Donald” or not he’s not going to get himself associated with a scam or pyramid scheme or anything illegal for that matter.
ACN Inc-The Products and Services
ACN Inc has considerably expanded its services since its inception. Although on the decline with consumers ACN 
Inc offers landline telephone service. As you may already know and might have done yourself, people are dumping their landlines in favor of exclusive use of their cell phones. That’s another thing you need to consider if you’re evaluating ACN Inc as a potential business partner.
ACN Inc is not stuck in the past though with a dependence on landline business. They also market cell phone service, satellite TV service, high speed internet, VOIP (voice over internet protocol) and, here’s what caught my eye (as a big time Jetsons fan growing up:), video phone service.
ACN Inc sells a videophone called the Iris 5000 Videophone. Actually ACN resells consumer equipment manufactured to their specifications. They sell it for under $200 with a two year service agreement. I have no idea what these things are like and I’ve never seen one but the idea still intrigues me. The problem, as I see it, is I don’t know anyone with a videophone.
ACN Inc-Getting Started and The Compensation Plan
This ACN Inc compensation plan section is going to be the shortest of my records. The ACN Inc website is not very
forthcoming on the details of the compensation plan. They say that you must find a current distributor to go through to get information. That’s bad for me but very good for distributors. You don’t want a network marketing company selling its products and services any other way than through its distributors. The grapevine though, does say that it costs about $499 to get started.
Obviously if you’re interested in getting onboard with these guys try to contact one of their distributors. The main thing you need to concentrate on whether you get on with ACN Inc or any other company is how you are going to market it. You need to leave your friends and family alone initially and find yourself a proven attraction marketing system.
